序説
本マニュアルでは、Netatalk のインストール、設定、および運用について説明する。現行の macOS システムや旧式の Macintosh、Apple II クライアント向けに AFP ファイルサービスを構築するシステム管理者を対象としている。
まず、Netatalk の入手とホストの準備については インストールを参照する。続いて、サーバーとボリュームの初期設定については セットアップを参照する。以降の章では、CNID バックエンド、文字セット、認証、アクセス制御、検索、旧来の AppleTalk サービスなどの個別機能と補助コンポーネントを説明する。既存のサーバーを Netatalk の新しいメジャーリリースへ移行する前に、アップグレードを読むこと。
コマンド、設定ファイル、および管理者コマンドのリファレンスは、対応するマニュアルページへリンクしている。そこには、すべてのオプションの説明とコマンド構文が記載されている。
